It wont. When it came up during Sirkens stream they danced around the question and said something like "maybe in an expansion." Wonder why Sirken or Deru didn't try to get us more deets on PvP they just said "well that's good enough" after spending 4 sentences on the topic.

In regards to PvP, that was actually something we asked about them prior to turning on the stream - it was something we were both really curious about. The answer was both good and bad - they expressed a strong desire to have PvP in the game, but also firmly stated that if they were going to do it, they wanted to do it right, and would need the funding to do so - hence the stretch goal.

I know I'm posting this in an RnF thread, but w/e, someone will read it and know that Visionary Realms is thinking about you guys too.

Not to mention Derubael, most posts here are about allowing boxing, mob variance, getting each other banned and everything else to secure PVE ADVANTAGES.

Then they wanna kick dirt at Brad for wanting to do PvP right and saying well we have a budget and here's what our time will cost to do that.

Even if this game doesn't have PvP right off the bat, it's going to provide more amusement than the next WoW clone. Period.
