85 from BDA, many of which weren't even 60 from what I could see, and 30-35 from IB at the peak.

and zone in level required for ToV is 46 if I remember correctly is classic. why wouldn't anyone not take their lvl 46 twink to tov when they have their main char fully geared? that's like saying nobody will get a rogue epic for their level 1 twink. I don't remember if you can MQ quest drops from ToV but that will be the next guild farming spot if it works.

You could zone in at level 1 to ToV and Skyshrine if you could make it there and had the key. It was after they put level requirements on items and made a level requirement to enter Time (After/during GoD) that they put the level requirement in ToV. I remember several sub level 46 toons sitting on dragon spawn points. If the mob was up your spotter got a rez once your mob killed it. That and you had Level 1's running around with 1k hp/ac from rot loots. I remember level 1-20's leaching off our ae faction groups in Kael then running strait to get their Skyshrine key and then off to sit on mobs in E-W-N Tov.

Level 1's got way more powerful in Time once you got the flagged. That and the people who used to de-level once we cleared time/Tanvu/Tacvi back to level 10 and then blow through old content with Raid Max gear and max aa. Almost all of the gear could be clicked / proced at level 1.

Red99 had a chance when it launched of being a populated server. Instead people chose to exploit plat quests when they could and kill level 2 newbies in their home town while the guards watched.

Wrong. Red99 had a great launch, Rogean released VP about 2 days later though and completely killed a lot of players drives to stay on red. Most hardcore TMO / IB left and went back to blue to raid VP.

Some months later Rogean nuked the guild <Holocaust> and banned or suspended all its members for a strat to kill Vox that Nihilum was also using. Rogean was never a fan of this guild or its members due to their shady histories. After this Nihilum took off, the box nearly died and went on life support, and Nihilum had uncontested farming of all raid content for a year or more.

The experience rates being raised was a constant argument.

Yellow text not being in from the start.

The debate over teams.

There is a lot more to it than you think, believe me. Rogean and Nilbog do a great job with these servers but when it has come to Red99, some serious mistakes were made.

With that said, Red99 has become a lot better. Double the exp of blue, YT, competitive guilds and a raid scene. 100 more new faces or so would make it even better. It's nice playing a server where every single exp or item camp doesn't have a line of people waiting to get it. And if you want something bad enough just kill the other person and take it. None of this variance bullshit or raid rules.

More people should play it imo. I always hear rumors about the playerbase griefing noobs off. Have yet to ever see it. Most people are helpful and I've been giving items and buffs to noobs as I run into them.

God, I remember the Holocaust ban. That seemed EXTREMELY heavy handed, especially compared to what has happened on blue. You can't have two factions on a pvp server and suddenly ban half of the server.
