In another life I may be a cat owner. It is too late for me. I shall have to live vicariously through the internet and these threads for my feline fix.

My body is literally covered in claw marks. The boy (spots not stripes) loves to crawl all over me and nuzzle my face until he passes out. He has learned to use my boobs as a resting place.

You get used to claw marks and scratches. One of my cats only has three legs (bone cancer survivor [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] She's awesome) and she loses her balance when standing or walking on me while I'm laying down, or jumping in my lap, and she uses her claws for stability. I get some pretty nice scratches from it.

That's a sad story - but I love it. I would have taken in a kitten/cat like that in a second if I could. Those cats need a lot of love, and unfortunately, people these days aren't really into that.

I took her in as a tiny kitten years before she was diagnosed [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] But on the plus side many people would have just let her die due to the expense so she lucked out with me.
