If you guys are really curious to how this is done here's what you do. Double tash stick for a tash, have the shaman malo and slow. After that its a battle of attrition. Takes about 7-10 mins to kill one, km maybe a bit longer. Use stone stance and mend if you have to for a little bit of extra breathing room. Yendar on the other hand is much easier. Sky belt + double epic fist and you will push him all over the zone to the point he shouldn't get a cast off.

Yea yendar is in no way comparable to these encounters as he is a very easy mob to kill, also Ragefire is an easier fight then guardian wurms by a large margin.

If (incoming dps) < (dps torpor offsets) vs slowed mob, it's soloable. Not really sure why Velious would matter. AC was capped for Shaman at kunark levels.

Clearly guardian wurms need to be added to loraens solo artist challenge so that some shamans get to the bottom of this, my shaman is decent but I think I'd just die a few times and leave. No strings allowed !

I wouldn't swear to it, but I suspect your chances at "Spell: Torpor" are something like this:

Code:
NPC ID NPC Name NPC Level	Drop Chance(%)	Drop Multiplier
91191 a guardian wurm 60 1.3 x 1
108512 Druushk 67 1 x 1
89144 Emperor Chottal	60 1 x 1
96089 Faydedar 55 2 x 1
86014 Gorenaire 60 4 x 1
108507 guardian wurm 61 0.1 x 1
108506 guardian wurm 60 0.1 x 1
120057 Harla Dar 66 0.5 x 1
108517 Hoshkar 66 1 x 1
87151 Ixiblat Fer 62 0.7 x 1
108513 Nexona 65 1 x 1
103056 Overking Bathezid	65 5 x 1
108510 Phara Dar 66 1 x 1
103080 Prince Selrach Di`zok	61 0.5 x 1
103055 Queen Velazul Di`zok	62 0.5 x 1
89001 sebilite protector	60 1.25 x 1
94009 Severilous 60 3 x 1
108509 Silverwing 66 1 x 1
91093 Talendor 60 2 x 1
89000 Tolapumj 60 4 x 1
89154 Trakanon 65 4 x 1
108511 Xygoz 65 1 x 1
A few additional creatures drop it when Velious and Chardok revamp hit, but I'm guessing this is a close approximation of the odds on this server. I don't think reavers drop it.

(Edited):
-Changed the theoretic drop chance off Ixiblat, as it was misleadingly high. Should be closer to accurate now.
-Not sure if "sebilite juggernaut" has a chance at Torpor. I think that is where I got mine, but maybe I am mis-remembering and it was off the protector. If they do have it, it is an abysmally small chance at it.

The "guardian wurms" are not soloable in any way that would make this a good spot to solo for Torpor. I was doing this tonight with a 60 warrior and 56 monk. They can be sneak pulled, and are extremely resistant. Even after Malo and Tash Stick I've had 4-5 slow resists on them.

the "ancient wyverns" are much easier. Either the wyvern or wurm spawns every ~20 or so minutes (didn't check time) probably 50% at either. The wyverns are much easier, but backstab and proc "dark poison". The wurms have a fire AE buts it not too devastating. The warrior would blow evasive when slow wasnt easy to land, or tash stick was taking forever to proc. Constant torpor keeps him up, but sometimes Superior spots are necessary with it, even slowed.

As a solo shaman, even with Torpor, you would have a very difficult time soloing one without blowing SoulFire charges or what not. Even if you could solo one, you cant keep up with the spawn timer, or split them. Totally a duo-trio spot for the spell, but not soloable. We got spells off of the wyverns, I don't remember if the wurms ever dropped any, only did maybe 2 hours at it, very hectic, very fun.
