I did a who all and there were 61 online. That means you had over 50% of the online players, most of whom are all 60 with max resist gear and what not. There's no strategy to overcome that. Pfft. RD clearly has more players active than Nihilum. That can't even be debated. This type of cherry picking of statistics can be done to paint whatever picture you want. You don't see me on the forums whining when I'm trying to grind out a level or two and there is a full group of RD at every decent XP camp in the game.

No matter what the GMs do, what happens to Nihilum, what rule changes are put in...we'll never have 1000+ people or even 500+. Your best bet at this point is to wait for Nihilum to implode and split into two factions which may or may not ever happen.

In the end, I knew with Red Dawn it's impossible to "win" this server, because there's just too many reallllllly dedicated people in Nihilum to gaining their satisfaction and fulfillment in life through Red99. However, with Velious, it is certainly possible for us to get a number of mobs, make meaningful and fun gains, and have a good time doing so. I've had a lot more fun with our 13 man faydedars, our 17 man Xygoz etc., than I ever did auto attacking fear trash with 60 people in Nihilum all max geared with zero threat of wiping. Kind of like in world of warcraft, the most boring part of an expac is when you have it on farm mode waiting for the next expac. That's when most people peace out. Strangely here, people are content logging on to do that same farm for 2+ years.

You're online more than 90% of Nihilum members and yet attack them personally stating how it drives their existence. Just cut that shit out already?

I don't think you grasped the context of anything I just posted. It was in response to a player in your guild making a post basically stating "show up and compete and do better." I was merely stating why that isn't a realistic possibility, and why you won't see us bringing 18 people @ 6:30am EST to KC. Also, my enjoyment from the game isn't tied to the denial of others enjoyment, but more to seeing others have a fun time from progressing. Thanks for your comments though for the most part.

EQ has always been a sockers game, it never catered to the avg casual player. Im sorry but. no... as much as i'd love it to be this way its not possible.

The gear gap in kunark from VP to walmart is not big.

You lost this server the second you invited azrael to your guild, if you had not done this the mood would not have changed, you might have been able to get majority of people who were in RD that were 60 already to PL and help gear.

The atmosphere has changed, its azrael v5 already. People are jocking for top position for loots that don't exist. and on the off chance you get loot, everyone is sour when they don't get it. it's just not conductive to a heathly stable guild.

Those people don't deserve you're time heartbrand.

Don't get me wrong here, i like RD. I like the fact that you guys have managed to make a second working guild on the server, we need it and more.

But, asking someone to change the game rules so you can get more loot, is not the way to go. You had a trak pop this sunday and you didn't contest then either. So don't come tell us it's about you needing better respawn times to fight us. That's a lie, it's about sniping dragons when we got our hands full with something else.
