Each time gms interfere with the game except for fixing bugs, summoning corpses etc. takes away potential pvp victory reward and makes the game boring. This thread is 99% Red dawn crying for gm favoritism and 1% me and rettiwalk trolling it. It's alot more fun to win if you earned it.

Couldn't I make the very same argument that the reset of mobs from 10PM ~ to 6AM was "gm interference", that took away "potential pvp" therefore making the game "boring" [60 people online during repops, 34 of them in the same guild, 0 shot @ pvp]? O wait i just did heheheh.

What PVP competition is there @ 6am EST when 60 people are online? Do tell, thanks. This is also news to me, that all raid mobs were slain in classic EverQuest @ 6am. I must have been playing a different game back in 99.

How is doing our best to "compete" within the given framework of the system a rebuttal to the point that there would be more competition if repops weren't consistently on a timezone that the vast majority of the server is not on? Looking forward to answer, thanks.

You're not even making an argument. My conclusion is that a greater distribution of mob timers would lead to more meaningful mass pvp. Your response is "but you camped people out @ fay for merbs!" How is trying to get what you can within the framework of the current system a rebuttal? We had 14 people for Faydedar. What are we going to do with 14 people against 30+ @ VS or Sev? Rather than say fuck it, we try our best to do what we can do with the reality of the situation. That isn't somehow a counter premise to my argument though.
