Loved doing this, after an hour or so youd see druids and wizards shouting, whos the rogue pickpocketing all the hill giants?!

U can level pick pocketing on green mobs, if you dont want to die while training it up just go pickpocket some noob mobs, that is how i get my PP up so i dont end up having to ask to use it in groups. U dont have to have a successful pick to skill up.

I dont believe there is any special trick to not getting caught, no matter how high your skill is ( the higher the skill less chance of getting caught) you have a chance of getting caught even from level 1 mobs. If there is some special trick someone else would have to answer that for u, sorry.

I did lots of travelling by foot on my Rog when I played live. I would pickpocket everything as I was running places. City guards typically have some plat and if you're zoning anyway, who cares.
