Had to look into this myself since I'm only familiar with the broken golem version of the quest.

But turning in CT skin spawns the NPC in Halas who then expects the 3 staves (phinny, VS and Tola's turnin). I guess he doesn't despawn after a single turnin so you can let multiple wizards do their turnins.

the skin is turned into a npc butcherblock, and eventually you get a note. that note is what is used in halas to spawn the npc.

Aye that. Later on the NPC gives you a cog which you turn in to the broken golem, then use the oil to get the note and the staff of gabstik. Causing Tolapumj and CT to no longer be necessary.

Basically Phinny Staff + VS Staff + PoFear Golem = epic, post revamp. Made it extremely easy to get. I MQd several with the person just looting Phinny staff and I'd turn in other two pieces.

post revamp the only bottle neck in wiz epic is the vs staff really. can be a pita to get one. comparatively, it is a fairly simple epic after revamp though.
