Bought one yesterday for 95k.

There's like 10 fungis on the market and everyone wants 110k+, but no one is getting it.

I see where they are coming from though and they arent trying to destroy their own market by undercutting over and over again. But eventually someone is gonna just want the plat and sell it.

Taking offers on an hourly rate to sit in EC on a level 1 advertising fungi tunics for 145k... so that people will buy your 110k tunics... hit me up.

Time to start a prediction market for p99. Place your bets. For the moment, I bet prices will go up (or at least stay between 90k-130k (numbers brought from ass)).

We all know supply and demand determines prices. Supply is pretty much constant now and probably always will be without any mechanics changes (I mean, they will be farmed 24/7). With talk of Velious and raid changes that allow a real possiblity for new people to advance, population will surely increase (even after accounting for those with hurt egos whose butthurtedness is beyond what they can handle and end up leaving). As such, demand increases. Fungis will never have any real competition from any other realistic regen items, so...

Fungi's are the servers equivalent of real life diamonds. More and more keep coming out every month, the price never drops.

The supply of Fungi's isn't going down, but the price is going up. The price is artificially inflated and no one should buy one for more than 85k to force it down.

You're only telling part of the story here. Maybe new fungis are coming into the market, but there are no real replacements for having a fungi tunic. Many items have sufficient substitutes but fungi is great to have for a lot of classes at 60 and is unparalleled as a twink item. Also coming into the market is tons of newly generated platinum and tons of other items. Wonder how many fungi tunics have "left" the server too due to being on a dormant account or being banned for RMT/duping/etc.

Well you never want to root the king, thats the point of the tertiary aggro rules. Nothing assists a mob who is assisting. Landing one on a reaver isnt bad, as coth is running during your cast so if it resists, who cares. Maybe 1:4 land. So at most 1500 mana is used on the mage and maybe 1000 more splitting as a worst case.

Once again, who cares when its duo. I look forward to destroying p99's fungi tunic market once again when my trusty mage friend decides to play eq again soon.

Oooohhh, I get it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] And you'd pick up the king on the path back? May have to repeat the process a few times to move the king closer to camp before doing the final pull? PM me ;P

Not really. he gets far enough into tubes/underwater before root breaks and coth lands that it doesnt matter, just retag (primary aggro now) and run up to under NG. If its a king, he casts at this point which is hilarious as it auto splits them for you and you can take one up each tube
