![]() PVP rules changed quite a bit from opening day to a year down the road. Rallos started and literally held everyones hand with excessive guide involvement. Granted, guides couldn't actually do anything to you but suggest you stop.
Such as attacking a player from ranged that was hiding by guards. You could get reported and a guide would ask you to stop. They learned real quick that the people that needed to be babied like that shouldn't be playing on a PVP server and cut involvement down substantially. Then, player enforced rules came into play. Which is exactly how it should be here. This GM-sanctioned PnP bullshit on Red is not how EQ PvP was meant to be played. If you join a PVP server, there should be the risk that someone else is going to ruin your fun. If you get corpse camped, log or play a different toon. Never have I seen a bigger group of babies in a video game that in one breath claim how uber at pvp they are and yet in the next proceed to cry about the very nature of a PVP server that provides the excitement and flavour that blue does not. | ||
