Its true that forum account and game account should be separate for the most part, otherwise everyone would be anon forum accounting it from here on out. I would have banned his forum account for exactly what you said (if not the grammar), however, unless he did something inflammatory against the rules in game, I'm not sure how banning his character is related to his forum activity?

All forum accounts should be tied to an in-game account. Posting rights outside of a heavily moderated introductory forum should be granted past level ~20. Forum discipline should extend to in-game accounts and vice versa.

I don't think that linking an in-game character with a forum account would work well for you. You are the most annoying person on the forums besides alarti- therefore you would only be hurting yourself sir.

Should be, but aren't normally. Is there is a rule that says that if you break the rules of the forum, you will be disciplined in game? I'm not saying that this is a bad idea, but currently, I don't see any rule that states this. In fact, I think this might be the first time someone's character status (banned/suspended/unbanned) has been effected by something they've posted in forums.

If there is a rule, then I think Yapas is in the wrong and should have known better. But it seems that Relapsee's character should be banned 100x by now if this is the case.

If you can't see going in-game and writing a bullshit petition about your forum status as crossing the line between Forums and In-Game then you're hopeless.

If he really cared that much about his forum ban he'd have used the petition FORUM instead of shitting up the in-game CSR queue.
