Roll backs aren't classic. Double exp is just a nice feature to help out the people that lost some exp in the rollbacks.

Do they have to do anything. Not at all, and I don't think anyone would quit playing on this awesome server even if they didn't do anything. But since they were considerate enough too, people are just voicing their schedules as to when they could take advantage of it to earn back their exp.

No one is looking for free hand outs here.

I feel like this would create a lot of work, but an option is too have a day of double now, and then a day of double over the weekend if thats more advantageous. So the week day and weekend players, can each have their time to earn back.

Anyways, I trust the devs to make it more than fair. Good hunting guys. I'll be able to get on a bit later tonight when gf has class and take advantage of it for a bit.

Yes they are. We had at least two.

seriously. why should a 12 hour rollback = 120 hours of double exp?

we should just leave it double exp all the time in that case.

i think the idea was for those who lost valuable time from the roll back to have a chance to get that time back more efficiently. Not all p1999 players can log on everyday so by that assumption a couple of days of double xp would give substantial opportunity to get that back. I do not speak for the devs but I think the idea is not to penalize those players who lost the xp, but yes everyone else gets the benefit of a few days of extra xp. It's not permanent so who is losing out? I see your point but double xp is not gonna get me to level 50 in 3 days unless i was already in the high 40s, maybe I'm wrong.

As I said before really the devs owe us nothing but its a nice act to help out players who did lose valuable time, maybe even worth letting a few others get an extra level or two over the weekend.

When my husband told me that we lost the full day of grinding and camping quest items I admit that I fumed for a bit. Seeing the double exp and reimbursements that the devs are doing is so incredibly awesome.

It always sucks to lose work that we've put in but the project 1999 staff rocks for helping us out so much. <3

I think its a great way for the devs to take what should be a resounding negative and make it a positive thing. I played for about 8 hours that got rolled back, including camping quest items and getting over a level of xp. I was pretty upset when I read it would be erased. Fast forward to today and I am eager to log in and use the double xp - ultimately my memory of this event will be a positive one. I can only imagine how cool it must be to get the bonus without having lost anything from the rollback.

In a twisted way, I'll even look forward to the next rollback.... that's good community management right there.

As far as duration... it would really be nice to have 1 weekend day with the bonus (I won't be able to play all day like I did yesterday until Saturday), but its probably overkill to have it on through the week. I'd suggest leaving it up today, then turning it on again just for Saturday or Sunday. Getting really greedy... maybe a GM event to capitalize on the extra traffic for the weekend...?

Why argue about it? Someone always has to try and stop people from having fun...I vote for double exp till Sunday..

It is a great idea, but it needs to end by at least Saturday night. Sunday is too long.
