While I do like the idea of hardcoding in some kind of system, just go off the assumption that any kind of code work is off the table. There's so much more to do right now that coding in a LnS system isn't even on the radar.

I understand what you guys (the GMs) are trying to do here, but this is something that will be abused by the trolls of this server.

90% of the people causing trouble are people that get off on ruining the game for other players.

Nihilum is not the problem and is probably the sole reason myself and many other players stuck around for so long. The guild pretty much gives any player a fair go at getting into the guild and generally only boot people for stirring shit intentionally or causing internal drama/grief.

The best solution would be to simply hard code a PvP immune flag after a PvP death that has a reasonable timer (eg 15-30 minutes) and immediately dissipates after looting a corpse or casting a beneficial/harmful spell on another player

I would think this would be an easy fix without the need of pulling out the BAN hammer or throwing weight around.

Any thoughts?
The problem is you're comparing forum trolls to in-game trolls and acting like they are the same thing.

I agree the forum has a ton of trolls (just like TZT or any message board does)

In game trolls are Nihilum, they are the bullies and force people off the box - I have been in Nihi and you do not see that behavior because you're not subjected to it.

Drop your tag a bit and you will understand, although I don't expect that to happen - just understand that you don't see the whole picture pal.

The amount of Anti-Nihilum sentiment in this PnP is staggering.. that being said, we're still gonna keep kicking all of your asses, forever... get used to it.
Well this is probably true but you will need to kick our ass while following the rules [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

and for the record, if players on red could act like civilized human beings, this wouldnt be needed.

the Red server is going to change. either get on board with the changes, or go play LoZ
/prassss sirkkkeeen!!!

pras deruabal and zade, you guys took an interest in our community and brought alecta on board, i seen a lot of improvement around here since the summer

thanks, staff, if i didn't mention your name, it's nothing personal, thank you all for whatever little parts u do in keeping r99 running as part of the whole project.

p.s. that pnp is just about a nicely worded copy of sonys which was a good pnp, and which is what players did manage to enforce on test server themselves without much effort other than excommunication of a small community (less then a few hundred players)

I don't think the vast majority of nihilum would survive one week on the other side getting griefed. Most of them are in nihilum because they got griefed.

Killing a guild contesting a mob or zone is not greifing...
