Nilbog I think the staff coming out and saying that you guys are tired of the insane competition that dominates the endgame scene is great. Bringing the PnP to VP is great as well.

All we need now is simultaneous repops and the cleansing will be complete. Repops are totally classic too - there are logs showing that Verant reset the servers basically every week during the Kunark era.
Hey loraen that may be true about repops but given the extended timeline wouldn't that flood the server with high end droppable items? Maybe that's what they're afraid of

Hasn't that ship kinda sailed already, reached it's destination and returned to the port to take off again?

It's not like the server isn't flooded with high end droppable items already, and we have so many high level players anyway after so much Kunark.

Repops:
  • Eliminate the need for tracking
  • Put guilds into different zones reducing the potential for douchebaggery
  • Spread the wealth a bit, especially in Velious
  • ARE CLASSIC

200 Traks at 2.5 teeth a pop is 450 teeth, and that's just TMO's with a lowball tooth/Trak ratio. There is already a flood of high end items, including droppables. However 80ish% of those items reside within one guild whos geared to the nines. They are tired, not afraid, of one guild holding all the content hostage.

You might find it hard to believe but nilbog is weighed into pretty much every major decision in this server, including the VP Rule change, including every single thing that went into the announcement 3 days ago, along with most of the CSR Staff.

Just because I'm the one that posted it, doesn't mean I'm the only one making the decisions.

Ok, I'll stop. You guys win, there's no way I or anyone else can change anything. Unfortunately, 2-way communication is what a true community is based on and that element of things seems to have fallen by the wayside here in the last 48 hours.

Actually, a lot of us have worked for change in the last few days. See: the new raiding agreement.

And Rogean just changed the rules in VP.

Yes, change sponsored by FE/IB comes easy. Did you even play on this server when IB was dominating? lol

I admire your new raid agreement though, I believe TMO should have agreed to a rotation months ago but thats just me.
