I'm a druid if it makes a difference. I went to Oasis last night for about an hour or so in a group just killing orcs. Not much XP gain per orc but we were downing them quickly. Would have been better if we grouped and fought higher level NPC's though.

You'll get better xp as a low teens group in Befallen and as a high teens group in Najena, as well as the odd drop that is worth more than all the croc meat you'll ever loot. Bronze weapons on the lower floors of Befallen, gems in Najena.
