Idea -- Make rival guilds PVP?

some of my favorite memories of EQ live were of guildwars back in the day. I was in two seperate quildwars that each lasted over the course of a few days. Being able to ambush a rival from another 'House', or having to watch your back at all times and do your best not to travel around alone made for some intense pvp battles, which would usually culminate with both houses amassing their forces in Nro, and then the unleashing of hell. good times good times [You must be logged in to view images. Pvp was not bad in eq. I believe it to be the best of any mmo ever made. /guildwar should be fixed. Forced guildwar would be hilarious and would be worth watching/participating in.

Maybe the best world pvp in classic. But as far as mechanics, skill involved, balance, ....etc....probably the worst pvp out of any game I've ever played. I mean there's a million reason why EQ pvp is terrible. Just too many reasons to get into really.

EQ pvp was cool back in the day because of the amount of world pvp. We got to kill whoever we wanted and take whatever we wanted(mobs) in the world we loved.

I've always wanted to see 2 large guilds /guildwar and form up in ranks facing each other in one of the Karanas, then charge like the battles in Braveheart, Lord of the Rings or most other battles of the past, lol.

That being said, I still think it would be hilarious if the top guilds had to duke it out in pvp for a day.

Already been done. I remember when IB/Tran drama escalated so much that Rogean said fuck it and turned PoHate PVP.
