A lot of people enjoy Red because of how PvE is handled. Waiting in line for stuff you want on a blue server or giving a shit about first to engage is a terrible system and ruins immersion.

The majority of EQ is still PvE on a Red server, but that small amount of PvP does change a lot. The number one objective should still be PvE, but you are able to compete for it in a much more realistic, fun and better way all around on a PvP server.

The decisions players make in possible PvP situations as well as ones ability in PvP shape reputations and the community as a whole. Even if these PvP scenarios are few and far between.

This is all hypothetical of course, this server blows when it comes to competing for PvE with PvP.

Here's what the lite core who is paranoid to the point of paralysis and has lost members booting "spies" doesn't get. There's literally nothing worth spying over on this server and no matter what you do whatever you're doing will still get leaked anyway. So rather than worry about voice authorizing people and taking down their eqemulator info in order for them to get loot, our policy is if you abide by the red dawn principles you're welcome to join. Yes, if it becomes public knowledge you're an alt or what not sure we won't be giving you loot over genuine members, but even in nihilum did have alts in my guild who cares? One azrael alt who was in the guild was accusing every new member I invited of being a nihilum alt. I can see why azraels recruitment is booming with his Cold War tactics. I I've zero fucks what nihilum is or isn't doing. Do I want to compete eventually?
