Silly to go through all these hoops to transfer money. Just go to EC and ask any high level person in an established guild.

Just join a guild. Very few people in a guild level 50 or above will EVER rip you off. Some gems like Jade are pretty good at selling back. But you will still loose some plat. Most venders around banks are a total rip off. NFP comes too mind.

Just buy what you want with the character with money and then put it in a bag, find a safe spot where nobody goes, drop the bag as you are about to log and then log in the other character in the same spot and pick the bag up. Ive done it this way lots of times with fungi tunic, heiro cloak and other expensive items and I find it a lot safer then trusting someone I dont know well.

Buy gems, they sell back for very close to the same, stack, and weigh nothing so are easy to transfer.

How about this alternative. Why don't you hand that money to good ol Stone Cold, I'll throw it in the trash, dump a couple of old lukewarm Steveweisers all over them, turn to you, look you in them beady little eyes, kick you in the gut, and deliver the Stone Cold Stunner to ya you fat piece of trash because your no good!!
Thats the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so!!!

Twinking over gear / gems on the ground between characters is risky. Period.
If you insist on doing it... 1) Move both characters to a very little used zone. I'm a fan of Kaladim B. Oggok is really good too. You want a combination of low NPC & low player character counts - both of them. 2) Once the characters are both where you need them to be, log out of the game entirely. Close the program. Close all programs on your computer. Run a Registry cleaner. Restart your machine. 3) Start up only EQ as your sole program. Toss the stuff on the ground and camp without pause. Don't waste a second. Log the second character on and grab that shit. The method is all about percentage chances of something going wrong. Be paranoid. Narrow that percentage for failure to be as low as possible - that means taking the above steps. All of that said, just transfer with someone you trust / someone that's high level in a guild in EC or something. It's just not worth the stress.
