AE kiting is using AEs. Swarm kiting is using charm.

It's hard to get over the "FUUUCCCK!!!! I DIED GOD DAMN IT!!!!" feeling... but if you can get yourself to remember that you earn 20x as much xp from one successful, one-hour-long kite as you lose from 1 death, you're golden.

That's definitely the fastest way to get into the 50+ game, but no point doing that if you're just going to give up on your bard cause it isn't your cup of tea. Enchanters definitely are a late blooming class, unfortunately, so you don't get the full feel for how they work at 50+ until you're 50+ [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Ah sorry, AE kiting. Yea and I still have yet to run a large-scale complete kite, so that's pretty scary. It makes me worried to try it again, because it takes one small cut corner to eat it.

I'm sorta interested in low-HP duo kiting with a shaman. That could be extremely good and cuts the risks by a tremendous amount.

Enchanters are indeed late bloomers, but even without charm, I'm enjoying my enchanter just for the sheer number of tools already at my disposal.

Decisions, decisions.

I think the overall win would probably be a shaman, but I will probably change my mind in 15 minutes.

Another approach...which epic is the most alluring to you of the classes you play? Pick one and don't stop til you've got it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Level a ranger to 60 while we still have exp pen and youll never want to level another character again. I went with a bard as an alt and even he is sitting at 16% to 60 and i just cant do it anymore. I always have the thoughts of making another character and then i really think about it and just... no

Haha you're incredible for leveling a ranger to 60. Also, I saw you in EC and you look sexy as FK, so it was probably worth it.

If you made another character, what would it be?

I feel ya, OP. I'm worse than you, even. My toons are higher level and I keep them all geared.

OCD is a bish, I tell ya.

Well at least they are higher level...

My AA prevents me from getting any one toon high enough to actually do anything useful.

Mine are 52, 45, 35, 25, 22, 17....and a bunch are like 12 and below...And I've been here off and on for over 3 years. It's the getting to do different stuff that draws me off of a toon for another....Doing the same levels over and over in short order would drive me nuts.

What's that thing about creating our own hells?

I had the same problem. What happens is I grind hard for a week or two and get bored, then I think if I roll an alt it will keep me interested.

Now I just start playing a different game for a bit, then when my EQ urge is recharged I go back to my main.

That's the thing....A good hard grind on one toon really brings out the Altaholicism.
