I have done fine in the tunnel. I out in an offer and if someone wants to make a quick sale I can get it cheap and sell for more. You gotta work within the system the commuinty decides on. Most people have an interest on the going rate of items. If its not a live price tracker it will be something else. I for one would never blind buy unless I was super rich I would advertise that im buying something for a very high rate as I know someone would probably sell items they are actually wearing if you offer enough. Your issue with price tracker is purely for the reason that you want to more easily make profit. Do you seriously expect in a game where there is currency that consumers will not want to create an environment where they can protect their own interests? Sure it is your right to sell at a high price, but it is also the communities right to seek price references.

Solution to price tracker; list everything at about 30k.

Not sure why people complained about the price tracker.

Isn't it all sellers reporting the price they sold their items at? So if you sell your crap for extremely high prices successfully you can just report it yourself to help move the market in the direction of the price point you feel is more correct.

That's not exactly what it is Era. I've never done that with wiki but it has me on the price tracker sometimes.

Interesting.

I've never posted a price on there because I'm always on the buying end. Reading those charts only listed the sellers, so it lead me to believe they were the ones to report their figures. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

As it has been said before:

-EqCastersrealm
-Allakhazam
-Eqatlas
-Eqtraders
-Random Raid guild forums
-Any altavista/yahoo free websites containing obscure EQ info

are all places that I went when I played back in 1999-2004. Saying that the wiki was 'not classic' really is a paper thin argument made by those who might just have an agenda (might, only God knows what's in our hearts).

All other old EQ reference sites are now polluted by stuff from luclin and further, making them almost worthless to use for someone looking for classic information. Personally I see the wiki as a blessing, and I thank Rahvin (sp) for the time he's taken to bring the wiki into being. It's a thankless job I'm sure, and he's a great guy for doing it!
