Let me be clear btw: I don't mean stealing computer data can never be larceny, but stealing an eq item can never be larceny. Although the elements of the statute are met, there is either case law to the contrary or will be as soon as a stupid fuck like yourself finds a way to bring this to a court.

I am not-so-sorry to say that you stole some guys item (although to be fair he was realy fucking stupid for dropping it, and probably deserved to have it stolen at that point, but not relevant), and you should absolutely be removed and blacklisted from any raiding guild from this point on.
This wasn't some accident, you deliberately stole someone else's item, period. Reroll and try again.
