On live, I played on TZ. When LDON rolled it out it was incredible for me since pvp made xping tough sometimes, plus if you did a few of them you would actually get a piece of gear that was as good as a piece of expensive baz droppable gear. This was cool imo.. having SOME instanced stuff to get away from PVP, that only gave out slightly decent gear.

So basically what you're telling me is you weren't good enough to progress without handicap accommodations.

I'm fucking sure they will include instances in one form or the other, people probably try to call these things something else cause instances has caught a bad rep but expect something where you and your friends are completely safe and there's no chance of pvp

Meanwhile they will call their game a "complete open sandbox"

I hated LDoNs. Ugh.

The best charm augment (or only charm augment?) for several expansions came from endless grinding of LDoNs. If I have to endlessly grind something, at least let pvp add some thrill to it.

Instances are gay - period - no matter how you put it.

The way EQ uses instances has a bad impact on immersiveness and community. Sometimes, as in the DoDH dream missions, they made sense as they were used. Multiple-group non-raid instances would be a considerable improvement over the single group stuff such as LDoN.

Also, Freddy Mercury was gay and rocked. Instances aren't gay, they're badly used.
