Both, it'll hopefully cover your tail in case it does turn out to be a duped item that they remove so you don't get in trouble. However their stance is that you assume all the risk when trading accounts so you may still be out of luck.

It really depends on how Sirken decides to handle it. For all we know this could (though extremely unlikely) turn out to be a legit stream of AoN's for sale, but in my 3ish years here I've seen probably 3-4 amulets going for sale in all that time. For there to suddenly be an outpouring of super rares is quite suspect.

I just want to come out on the record and apologize for accusing you of purposely selling duped items and shitting up your trade thread.

I'm sure that the majority(not all) of the AoN's that were duped were sold to people looking to make a profit and had no idea that the items where duped.

They are not selling AoNs via RMT they are selling AoNs for plat/accounts and that turns into RMT.

The RMT people know these items will probably be removed and they are probably lagging/crashing zones in order to dupe these items so everytime someone goes to a RMT website they are dooming the server to more lagging/crashing.

So stop buying plat!

The fact that when only 21 AON's have dropped in the last *2 YEARS* (each of which fully accounted for) is proof enough that when 8 of them appear on the forums from no name, unguilded toons, and the price drops hundreds of thousands of plat. Anyone can see that these are being duped. Don't fall for it. Discounted AON's, sounds like a Tim and Eric skit.

Is the drop rate on p1999 different than live? I had one on live that I bought for like 50k? I think I traded it for a fungi tunic at some point. It was a cool item but I don't remember the same hysteria over it as there is here... of course I was 13 back then so I could have had the situation woosh over my head =P
