Quickest way to make something ugly is to make its face asymmetrical. They've done studies where even babies have an baseline knowledge of beauty. Symmetrical faces make babies smile more.

Get those deathfist scalps and belts, turn in til your level 12 or 13. Then head out to a gator group in Oasis. You'll level pretty damn quick.
