 | Gem/Spell book icons and the "mandatory" files So, there are a few "mandatory" zips that you have to put into your Everquest folder. I am having one problem with this. I want to abide by all the rules the server sets, except, why can't I keep all the modern Gem/Spell book icons? Why can't I update everything else, and be classic that way, but actually be able to see the GOOD icons? Now, I played back when there were some bad icons, but why do I have to purposely make the icons look bad, where Root and DS have the same icon (which is horridly bad). Is there a way for me to install the updated "levels" of spells, and everything else, without ruining the icons? I've tried everything I can think of. Any help and or confirmation that you can't do anything would be nice. | ||

 | It is innate to the spell file. It controls the graphics that appear on the spell gems & they've all been modified. You can use the newer graphics, but your icons on the spells will be wrong.

 | I keep an up-to-date spells_us.txt that uses the newer gem/spell icons. It's available at http://www.wrathfulinquisition.com/viewtopic.php?t=9800 along with my custom UI. I update it whenever there's a p1999 patch that changes the spell file.
