dude i only mention this because of the greed / insanity that is the raid scene on red99.
Myself, nips, samwise, and others have given so many items to new players, power leveled so many people, started guilds for new players to help raise population, i think it was a collective effort of a handful of people (sorry none were staff) that kept things going when the outlook for the server was dismal and the activity on server mundane. I remember logging on when pop had like 20 ppl. just to give clarity, sow, and help ppl even though i played LoL. people sit on massive amounts of items and plat. and fight an bicker with each other over pixels? the amount of time ive spent helping others (and pvpin) and amount of items and pp i give out. just gave a noobie ranger who been soloing all morning 650 pp. I find it unfathomable to even have this type of mindset about anything none the less a video game. its pixels man. its not tangible. or is RMT so widespread that $$$ all anyone sees? lusting after pixels similar to holding on to a get out of jail free card from monopoly, thinking you can one day use it in real life. silly neckbeards!
