Default Error while patching: access denied

Hello everyone,

My apologies if this has been brought up previously, but I've been searching for a few hours and been unable to come up with a solution to my particular problem.

A bit of background: a few months ago, I had Project 1999 up and running without any problems, but eventually, I got the dreaded "spell files out of date" error and couldn't find a solution. As a result, I gave up.

Today, however, I decided to give it another try, uninstalled and deleted everything and started fresh. I used Duxa's installer, changed the eqhost path with no problems, etc. etc. However, on the initial patch in the EQ Emulator, I continue to get the following error:

"Error while patching: Access to the path 'C:\Titanium\files\787\dsetup.dll' is denied."

Once this error message is dismissed, I can access the game and the server, but continue to get the "spell files are out of date" error. I have tried to replace the spell files with the suggested new files, but this hasn't fixed the problem (curiously, and in a perhaps unrelated matter, the dsetup.dll file included in the zip folder vanishes every time it is extracted).

I'm unsure how to proceed. I have attempted to run the emulator as an administrator, I do not think the dsetup.dll file is having any conflicts with anti-virus software (as this wasn't a problem in the past when the game was working on my computer), and the directory with the relevant files is in its own location in the C: directory (rather than inside program files, which has caused problems in the past).

One final thing...when the emulator is patching (or attempting to patch), it claims it is downloading the various files, like the dsetup.dll, but has the addition "- Unknown" after it. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but thought I'd mention it.

Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated, and thanks ahead of time.
