Mend Button: Fixable?

Is the Mend button ever going to be fixed to accurately match the skill's actual cooldown? Right now once you click it, it does not become available again for 6(?) minutes, but the skill's actual cooldown is less than five minutes. The button resets when zoning but doesn't reset the actual cooldown. Why is this skill button so messed up? Can it be fixed?

afaik mend was always 6min

Mend fails quite often, however it is a critically useful skill to a monk. I'd suggest mashing that button every 6 minutes, regardless (yes, it is on a 6 minute timer). Once skill reaches 101, it never fails.
