These posts do more hurt to the population than anything else. People come here and read these posts and think maybe they shouldnt start a character and waste time on a ghost server.
I'm lvl 24, and have had plenty of pvp competition in whatever zone I've been in. 150-250 people on during primetime is PLENTY of people for old world EQ. As more people get lvl 50, it'll only get better. Thats a lot of people competing over a small amount of content. Should lend itself to some good fights.
People need to cut the doom and gloom bullshit and enjoy your free eq. You're not going to find anything better than this, thats why you are here.

I agree. I'm currently excited when I see my spawn not being camped so I can level up. I spent an hour the other day fighting over a spot. The PvP was fun but by the time I won the spawn I had to log off about 15 minutes after I had it. With old world there aren't that many places to level. If there are 200 people on then there should be around 20 people fighting over the best exp spots within your level range (if population is evenly distributed). Obviously this will change once the server gets older and more people will be at high level.
Having even 75 level 42-50's on at once in the old world on a pvp server should be congested enough. That's a lot of people with few zones to be productive in. Also it is easy for scouts to find guilds they don't like with the small world.
Once expansions start hitting the population will be spread pretty thin.. but it also seems to give the population a boost to even it out.
Out of curiosity - wasn't the exp raised by 25% anyways? It is now January 3 and I never saw a message saying it was taken away. The exp bonus also never said it was temporary - it just happened to say happy holidays at the end of the message.
