Default Problem launching game
I had to redownload and setup eq for p99 on a new computer

When I try to launch it keeps wanting to install Sony Launchpad.

I modified all the files it tells you to modify in the getting started section

os is windows 7 64 bit


someone know what I'm doing wrong?

You added patchme to the end of your shortcut? That's the usual culprit.

yes

just a space at the end of the target and then patchme

I can't remember how I had it on the other computer and I can't check.

ahh I figured it out, I think heebee's assessment was correct

fyi people that do a fresh install of EQ be aware the target file in the desktop shortcut is EverQuest.exe by default, and it needs to be eqgame.exe
