![]() Hello,
I am one of those welcome-back players, back in the 2000's I used to play a druid so I decided to create one here (currently lvl 14), and I am experiencing some issues, i hope a more experienced player could explain me: 1.- Root/Snare always stacked in ol'times eq, but to my surprise i tried to cast both on a mob today and it says my spell did not take hold. Doing a little search on the forums i noticed that on classic this two spells (Note the root from druid not other class) dont stack together. Anyone knows when was the patch were this two started to stack together? or when are they going to stack (if theyre going to) here on P99?, its very annoying. 2.- What is the base damage a mob takes if its Rooted or snared? I think i remember it takes only 60% when snared, and 100% when rooted but not sure. Thanks, and thanks again to all the people who make this great server possible. - Gaviilan, 14 Druid

![]() 66% dmg from DoTs while a mob is moving. (fear and mob fleeing don't count)
I believe it is sometime during Velious that root and snare began stacking, but I'm not positive.

![]() So .. as long as a MoB is rooted it takes 100% Damage from the DoT right?

Also, if it is fleeing due to low hps (or feared) it will take full damage from the DoT as well. Of course this is for DoTs only, if you snare a mob and start running away from it nuking it, it'll take full damage from the nukes regardless.
