Default Rusty Weapons

Certain Rusty weapons selling to vendor too highly.

In Classic rusty weapons sold for silver only (verified)

Some weapons are selling correctly such as Rusty, Mace/Axe/Rapier/Broad/Dagger

But the remaining are selling for Gold (1-2) and Cracked Staff for 1 plat.

In classic all rusties where 1-3 silver each and Cracked staff was 1 gold

I remember nearly having a heart attack because Id see a decaying skeleton in Nektulos walking around with a cracked staff, which sold for 1 plat. I hunted them well past exp lvls just for the staff so I could get my spells for lvl 4. This was in march 1999. I am not mistaken. The cracked staffs were worth over 2x what spider venom sacs sold for ( which was around 4.5 gold )

As for the rest, I do not recall. Cracked staff was the prized drop, along with backpacks at starting levels.

A very good way to earn decent money in Everfrost Peaks for low levels is to find the DS's that are carrying staves. I've killed quite a few that carry cracked staves, and those go for over 9 gold for an average charisma. Not to shabby when you're around 3-5...
