Default If there was another thematic loot event...

...ideally, which raid targets would drop what loot?

For those who weren't present, various coveted loot was added and seemingly not at random, often flavorful to match the mob type/name. For example, Eashen of the Sky dropped a Robe of the Azure Sky which was clever. Unlikely we'll see an event of that scope again but it's fun to consider, especially from a GM perspective. IMO...

Tunare would drop Shroud of Longevity because it has fungal regrowth and, like her dress, it's green. Robe of the Spring for similar reasons. Rowyl's Metal Armguards because they're also green and druid-only. Plus maybe a Crown of Rile due to the click effect and the fact that she is donning a crown. Yunnb's Earring just to troll, since it has the same icon as Golden Leaf Earring.

Inny would drop a guise for obvious reasons. Maybe add Willsapper and Girdle of Dark Power. Not sure what else.

Maestro would drop Kelsiferus' Armband of Artistry because of his bardic ties/regal fashion, PoS horn, and the resulting spawn would drop Hand of the Master instead of or along with Hand of the Maestro.

Draco and Ashenbone Broodmaster would/could share the same drops.

ST golems...Gharn's Rock of Smashing because they themselves are made of bluish stone material. Also because of the whole, "Is it slashing?" nonsense years back, but now smashing instead of slashing. That plus Hammer of the Dragonborn alongside primals.

Hoshkar would drop Cloak of the Falling Stars as a nod to their ordinary drop, Blade of Falling Stars.

Zlandi would drop Onyx arms, legs, and gaunts because they're black.

Dagarn the Destroyer? Ring of Destruction.

List goes on.

Any white/red/green dragon can drop the appropriate color scale. Red/white ultra rare drops on ST trash, didn't they conceive the sleeper? Some were bound to brush off during the deed. Nortlav the Scalekeeper can drop any scale.

Would be cool if giants had random chance of dragon/dwarf loot and vice versa. I mean, they kill each other all the time.

And items they crafted can drop on the dragon (like horn of Hsagra), or like Yelinak may drop Tormaxs head.

Zero chance any of Kerafyrm's parents' scales somehow got into the tomb constructed many years after his birth to imprison him for being a world-ending threat with anger issues.

Wuoshi finally near the top of the menu. Then make them roam so there's challenge to the FTE and kill, avoiding adds like the corrupteds/named giants.

IMO there's enough evidence suggesting that this is what at least one dev intended eventually but, as with much of development (shawl 8), it fell by the wayside. At least an additional scale color was hinted at in the broken quest, possibly a third IIRC.

What else...

Small manisi plant on Tunare would probably fetch triple digits DKP, depending on the guild.

If somehow Bristlebane became a raid target in PoM, could fill out his loot table with leathfoot sandals, halfling mask, spinning orb of confusion, and the like. Maybe a random card or two, rarity being the same.

Million HP thiefling focusers ought to drop a piece of PoG armor every time, with costco size # of bownie parts.

Imagine hundreds of gp on the ground underneath each dragon. If only coins could be dropped on here, zerg raids could have the perfect photo op.

Just hide a guise or two on some random town NPC and watch every guild kill everything in the game one Friday night.
