![]() It's tragic, because pretending to be a tree is (non-sarcastically) one of my favorite things to do in this game and one of the best parts of being a druid, and once upon a time it was not broken, but currently the tree illusion is SUPER broken: anyone who zones in after the spell has been cast will instead see a human male wearing the caster's armor and stuck halfway into the ground. Regardless of whether or not the person's a man. I know it's not exactly gamebreaking and you guys are understandably super busy but if it's at all possible to fix this it would be wonderful.
If it was broken in a way that didn't turn me into a dude that'd be one thing but as a woman playing this game, it's already a challenge to get people to stop calling me sir, so getting caught in human man form only exacerbates the problem. Thank you again for all you guys do; I love this game so much and it's a wonderful gift that you give to us. I really appreciate the hard work you do to allow this wonderful community to exist. | ||

![]() All non-PC model illusions are broken like this. It's not even about zoning in. I have tested this with Minor Illusion. If someone is facing away from the tree or object that you are looking at when you cast the illusion, and then they turn around to see you: you will be a human stuck in the ground.
I think it has to do with rendering. If the observer cannot see the item that the Tree or Minor Illusion is copying - they will see the human model stuck in the ground.
