SMS Blacklist When Adding to Account

Attempted to add my phone number to my account for verification, recieved a message saying the number has been blacklisted. Is this on my end or is this something I should try later or does it require a mods help? Also is it a problem to have this number used for multiple account or no? Thanks in advance for your help.
