Game Mechanics: Deadly Traps!

Traps (at least the spear ones in Sol A) are now doing way, way, WAY more damage than they ever did, either here or on Live:

This way in the space of about a half of a second; I ran into the spear trap as it was receding and only barely just survived. Running into a spear trap is now a recipe for instant death if you aren't lucky. The block crusher traps do not appear to have the same problem.
