Pet commands not working

I have a lvl 5 enchanter on Teal. It's not just macros, pet commands not working. The only one that works is /pet health. It's strange because if I enter something like /petmycrackedstaff I get 'That is not a valid command. Please use /help.' However if I enter /pet attack absolutely nothing happens. I'm not using any skins and I have the latest patch. Any ideas?
