Certain Sounds Disappeared

Hey all. Recently I noticed all sound EXCEPT music (such as Kelethin theme) have disappeared. My spells make no sound, opening bags makes no sound, footsteps make no sound, mobs make no sounds. I searched the forums and attempted various things other people tried but I'm still unable to find a solution.

Things I've tried so far:
-Reboot PC
-Check eqclient.ini
-Check Windows sound controls (toggled on and off of main device)
-Checked In-game sound options
-Checked Options menu before login
-Downloaded and extracted the "Make EQ Sound Significantly Better" files

Some people said reinstalling didn't help them so I haven't tried that yet but I guess that would be next. Anyone have thoughts? This really bothers me. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Did you ever find a solution to this. I've been looking everywhere for a fix. Everything that you done to fix this that is mentioned in your post is exactly what I have encountered. Seems to be messed up since the last patch. "throwing my hands up"

I'm having the same issues. I was able to get it to work once by turning the sound off then on in the old eq options menu. I also got it to work once on red before even messing with the settings. It doesn't seem to stick though.
