![]() I can play EQ fine (just fine /snark) on my ASUS ROG 750JZ laptop, specs below. What's a little frustrating to me is that EQ only sees the Intel HD 4600 on this system, not the Nvidia Geforce GTX 880m, so I get a lot of screen tearing and when I hit the EC tunnel a bit I start to get into some really crappy frame rates. Does anyone know how to get this software to recognize my higher end graphics so I can play better? Is the solution the WinEQ2 software?
Thanks in advance! ![]() On Linux I use a program called Optimus Prime to control which graphics card "wins". On Windows I believe the Nvidia configuration program should give you the option (somewhere).

![]() It was in the Nvidia Control Panel - Manage 3D Settings -> Global settings tab -> Preferred graphics processor:
The setting was set to auto and then I set to High Performance NVIDIA Processor. Was a PAIN to get EQ in line though. When I logged in, I got my character with no overlay of text or buttons, just him standing there and the background for the character screen - I pressed <enter> -- It logged me in. Then I got a 640x480 full screen mess. Navigated back and forth through alt-tab and fullscreen a few times to get to settings - don't do this... Just move things around to get to the EQ button press it then move things around to get to settings and move things around till you can get to Screen Resolution and then hit your native screen resolution and everything will pop back to your layout as you had it before. SWEET!!! | ||
