What does Tolapumj's Robe do for a caster?

Can someone shed some light? It doesnt make you cast faster, right? And I dont want to melee at 35, so whats the point?

Cause even caster melee is more efficient than sitting and medding and nuking. (with the 2handers from Velius)

Extreme estimation at level 35 (I'll just leave out damage bonus, cause whatever, Don't wanna)

(30/36 x 2 x 1.36) x 10)= 22.66 dps x (big guess here) 1/3 hit rate x 1/2 damage rate. So lets just say 4 dps.

Level 35 spells are 2:1 damage to mana. You med at 15 mana per tick / 6 = 2.5 mps x 2 = 5 dps.

Nope, it's useless. Reroll.

My 2 cents... Some caster class(es) have weapons that can proc some pretty amazing DD/etc spells. So haste items could make them into proc machines.

I've heard tales of runed enchanters using proc weapons to do dps.

When I dont feel like switching to my rogue, as a chanter. I get focus, primal essence, VoG, boon of garou myself (max dex). Throw on haste robe with Staff of the Silent Star (400 DD proc) and go to town. I've done 8k+ dmg from procs alone on ST golems or other non aoe'ing mobs when I get lucky with procs.

Tola robe + silent star staff + vog + boon is pretty tight
