Don't know about right now, but in the past people have had to wait months for an IP exemption. This might be because the staff is busy, or it might be a clever plot by them to discourage IP exemption requests [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Either way I've never heard of any way to speed things up, so I'd recommend moving on with your life for now, as you could be waiting for awhile.
