Mid level necro gear

I'm currently playing as a 23 necro. Since it's my first character on the server after I buy spells I'm pretty broke but I'm tired of wearing cloth. I was given a robe, 1 earring, main hand and range item but outside of that I dont have anything with stats.

What I was wondering is if there is any gear I could camp myself to fill up the rest of my slots. I know about the glowing black stone but that's about it.

Can't think of a whole lot you could camp at that level, though I'm sure there are a few. Scryer in upper guk or ghoul magus in Unrest come to mind (can look up their loot tables on the wiki, but both are low twenties camps with +int or +mana items). You could also look up the Words of Darkness, shadowbound armor and harvester quests in Temple of Sol Ro.

A more flexible option would be to level at a camp that makes some cash (like gargoyle island then sister island in Ocean of Tears or giant fort in warsliks woods) for a few levels then buy some mid-level gear in the tunnel.

If you really prefer to farm the gear on your own (which is definitely very fun) then you'll probably have to wait until 40+ to get all or most of your slots filled in, but the good news is that it won't slow you down much as a necro.

best bet is gring to 26/27 then going to sk and farming treants for cash and buying gear. i would recommend best bang for the dollar si jewelry hp/mp earign hp/mp neck and hp rings.

Tome of Miragul is cheap and really nice for necros, except iksar cannot use. Rokyls channeling crystal also is nice. Both items add mana and hps, which you want.

You won't find anything decent to camp at lvl 23 but you can xp on mobs that drop decent coin and loot to sell, then buy what you can from players.

Warslik Woods has a giant fort, it's great xp and they drop forest loops and weapons that sell for a lot. Think I did those giants till 29 lvl.

I'm certainly not above camping mobs for coin to buy gear. Just didn't know of any decent spots to do it. Got a sacrificial dagger in mistmoore last night and now I'm heading to kill pyzjn. Sounds like after that I should head to warsilks woods.

I usually play pretty late. Like 10:00 est and on. I might not be on tonight but I should be on Wednesday. I'll send you a message when I see you on. I've given up on the glowing black stone. My charactet's name is Nekai and he's 25 now or just u der it.

I would suggest doing the shadowbound armor quests and the harvester quest. Also, when you become about 34ish you should camp ogres in the karanas for earrings and a mask. I also went and camped Trazdon for his dark circlet. Also, go to upper guk and camped braclets of woven grass. You can also head to befallen and camp the thurmogist (spelling) for a pretty decent range item. This should leave you with shoulders, legs, and a waist item that need upgrading. You could probably use the belt and legs the ogres drop but they are not great items. Prolly should save some plat to pick up HP rings and the the skull of torture in kurns is a pretty solid necro neck item. Also, about 30 you can head to AC camp in guk and get some arms. Use a festering cloak till you can find something better and they drop all the time in unrest (you will be there for quest pieces anyway).
