EQ freezes up in windowed mode

I play in windowed mode. If I go AFK for a few or I'm camping something and not that active for a bit and my screen saver comes on even for a second my screen locks up and I have to hit ALT-ENTER to go fullscreen to get it back. I use dual monitors and I have seen the same behavior when loading certain web pages on my second monitor..my EQ window just freezes up. This makes Internet browsing while playing a serious PITA.

Anyone familiar with this issue and know a fix/workaround? It's really annoying.
