No one is voting for Trump on the basis of his policies, because he doesn't have any policies, and even if Trump was the second coming of Jesus he wouldn't be able to fix the mess America is in. Historically, no one comes back from 2x GDP in government debt.

What Trump can, and probably will, end up doing is striking a blow against the crazed progressive 'I demand that you acknowledge your white male privilege and resign' idiocy that has somehow infected this country. And that's more than any president since Reagan.

Mostly this, though Trump's life record is largely Democratic and I've thought from the get go that his run was only aimed at helping Hillary get elected. Will be interesting to see what happens if Bloomberg jumps in the race though.

Most of his supporters choose to ignore that though because he's voicing their frustrations. It's the same reason Democrats are so opposed to him, he's saying things they despise. Wizard's First Rule yeah?
