I had 3 cats, one died when it was 18, one at 20, one at 22. Fortunately they became such demented and annoying cats in their old age i wasn't sad when they died even remotely. And now i generally hate cats... seriously, a cat that is deaf, that thinks it will meow the hell out of your house at 3am certainly knows how to piss you off.

DAMN thats a messed up tag.
Sorry for your buddy ashimar, my old weenee dog is gettin there, 13 years. Gets more annoying the older he gets. But then i feel bad when i remember what he has left. | ||

It's always demoralizing to lose a life long friend like this; just try to focus on the good times, and what a great life the little fur-ball had before things started to go down hill. Do not be tempted to toss photos of your pet to make it hurt less either -- years down the road it will be nice to have them in some obscure box that you open while moving, and get some good memories flooding back.
