Default Installation problems

Hey guys,

Firstly I'm so excited about this project, and I hope it exceeds all expectations!

Secondly, sadly I'm struggling to get Titanium installed. I've used Alcohol 120 as a mounting device for the CD images (as the one given doesn't seem to like Vista) but once I get to CD2 and needing to mount a different image... it seems like I hit a brick wall.

Mounted it, but it doesn't continue to install... as you can tell I'm no techie, but if anyone who is in the know has any suggestions that would be fantastic. Really want to get my teeth into this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Hey I gotta help swish! Number one: I used daemon tools so ymmv BUT you could try increasing to 5 virtual drives and mounting each CD to another drive letter and then just changing the location in the installer for the next disc...

lol similar names!

The 5 virtual drives ideas was a great one! However it still prompts for disc 2 when its required - short of physically burning the 4 remaining discs onto CD-R's is there any reasonable alternative?

Perhaps a way to get the installer to recognise me "inserting disc 2"?

Wait, self solved!

If anyone else struggles with this... the 5 virtual drive option is a good one!

When it prompts for subsequent discs, simply select the virtual drive that has that disc in it! (G: H: I: etc)
