Howdy, newbie here, few questions :)

Howdy buds, I started recently on this server. Really nice job on it.
I chose a troll warrior (lvl 8 as i'm writing) but I heard it wasn't the easiest class to level up because it's really gear dependent, anyway I have few questions.
First, I left the swamp to go to freeport, but the freeport militia is hostile to me, anyway I can make improve my reputation to them?
Second, What would you say would be a good path to level up as a troll warrior? I followed http://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Newbie#Level_6-12 until now.

The thing that bothers me is If I try to level in east commonlands, I can't reach the bank (can't enter in freeport), so I might try this guide instead => http://www.almarsguides.com/eq/level...on/classic.cfm

Could you guys help me out and tell me what do you think about it?
