Need help installing

So, I have all the files and haven been trying to Daemon tools lite for the ISO. But it doesn't want to work at all. I then used winrar and it seems like it installed but I don't think it did. It asked me to load disk 2, I did, and them back to disk 1. it skips 3-5 entirely. I figured, what the heck? So I removed the files I needed to and copied over all of the Project 1999 Files (V36). I load up the game and it won't let me log in. What happened?
Do I need a good ISO thing? Or did it actually install correctly? What else?
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

dont ever start the game before you have made a shortcut and added the "patchme" option. right click the shortcut on your desktop, edit properties, change Target to something like this: C:\games\EQ-Titanium\eqgame.exe patchme (otherwise your game will get patched by live version and client is then unusable for emulation.)

Not sure what was wrong exactly. Reinstalled straight to C:, then did Duxa's all in one installer, patched in the spell effects, removed the files and I needed to and then boom! It worked!
