Does Daybreak Own Project1999 Now?

Word on the street is Velious isn't coming out in August and won't be coming out until Daybreak OKs it. With a new PVP and PVE progression EQ2 server coming out soon, could be a long wait if this is true.

It's pretty obvious it's getting delayed. Beta server isn't up and was confirmed to be up soonTM by nilbog himself weeks ago. There has been little talk about to velious and not even a screen shake in 1.5 months give or take? I really hope I'm wrong and I'm not bashing the staff, its just my speculation and many others.

Only reason I bring this up is because there was supposed to be promotional and GM events, or similar in game stuff to promote Velious coming out.

Haven't really heard a single word about it and it's in a month. Nobody is talking about it let alone hosting any type of event. If it gets delayed why do people think that might happen?
