Everytime i switch zones from west freeport to east commonlands my client stops responding. I was fine for about a week and then this started happening today. Any ideas on how to fix the issue? or what it could be?
I can barely even move before it stops responding when i log back into east commonlands Edit: It seems it might be a problem with the specific character, my 2nd character seems fine. Has anyone experienced this? Now every time i log the first char client crashes.

You try just letting it sit for another minute? I sometimes get "not responding" as well, but it loads anyway.

i was playing just fine an hour ago, went to put my kid to bed. And now I cannot log back in. Toon is camped along the wall in W CL.
Same type of thing. Game screen loads. then "not responding" until the window poofs.

When installing, did you follow all of the instructions here? Did you delete the required files? I ask because the post warns

EDIT: I would try to reinstall first just in case something got broken client side.

no dont reinstall.. 1 of these 2 suggestions should solve your problems. it involves removing logfile and other ini files for that specific character (dont delete just move to a different folder and try again)
1 - logfile. delete or rename your characters logfile 2 - character ini files. delete or move your characters ini files the ini files i suggest removing can be found by going into your EQ folder, and typing your characters name into the search field (ctrl+f) it should show a list of ini and other files with your characters name as part of the filename. cut and paste all of those files you find to a different location - like in a temp folder on your desktop.. Then try loading up that character again.
